How do I choose between Wildhawk and Freewill underwear?

Choosing the right protection shouldn't be guesswork. We know that finding products that work for your specific needs is crucial for your comfort and confidence. That's why we've developed clear guidelines to help you determine whether Wildhawk underwear or Freewill underwear and guards are the better fit for your situation. This guide will walk you through the key factors to consider, so you can make an informed decision and get back to living your life without worry.

We describe Wildhawk underwear as being for men who experience “drips and dribbles” with Freewill underwear and guards being for men who experience “more than that”.

Let’s provide a little more detail on what that means.

Wildhawks are probably the best fit for you if:

When you experience a dribble/leak, each individual time it happens, the amount of liquid is 1 teaspoon or less. A teaspoon is about the amount that fits inside a bottle cap.

AND

Over the course of a day (that’s from when you wake up till when you go to sleep), you dribble less than a total of 3 ounces. That’s about half a kids juice box, or a travel-sized shampoo bottle (the TSA-friendly size).

AND

Over the course of a night, you dribble less than 2 ounces. That’s about 4 small coffee creamer tubs or a large shot glass.

OR

You currently use absorbent shields (i.e. thin pads), and you feel like they give you the right amount of protection.

Freewill underwear and guards are probably the best fit for you if:

When you experience a dribble/leak, each individual time it happens, the amount of liquid is more than 1 teaspoon (bottle cap) but less than 4 ounces. 4 ounces is half a cup or the equivalent of 2 big-ish shot glasses.

AND

Over the course of a day (that’s from when you wake up till when you go to sleep), you leak a total of more than 3 ounces (travel-size shampoo) but less than a total of 12 ounces. 12 ounces is equivalent to a full soda can.

AND

Over the course of a night, you leak more than a total of 2 ounces but less than a total of 8 ounces. 8 ounces is equivalent to a full cup, a can of Red Bull, or one one of those small milk cartons from school lunches.

OR

You currently use absorbent guards (i.e. the thicker pads), and you feel like they give you the right amount of protection.

Neither Wildhawk nor Freewill are a good fit for you if:

When you experience a dribble/leak, each individual time it happens, the amount of liquid is more than 4 ounces. 4 ounces is half a cup or the equivalent of 2 big-ish shot glasses.

OR

Over the course of a day (that’s from when you wake up till when you go to sleep), you leak a total of more than 12 ounces. 12 ounces is equivalent to a full soda can.

OR

Over the course of a night, you leak a total of more than 8 ounces. 8 ounces is equivalent to a full cup, a can of Red Bull, or one one of those small milk cartons from school lunches.

OR

You currently use full diapers and require that level of protection.

If any of those amounts describe your experience, then Wildhawk and Freewill products will not provide enough protection for you.

Here’s a table summarizing what we said above

Each individual time <1 teaspoon Between 1 teaspoon and 3 ounces More than 3 ounces
